How skills work
Skills follow the agentskills.io open standard — a progressive disclosure model that keeps agents fast while giving them deep expertise on demand.
Agent scans available skills
At startup, the agent loads only the name and description of each installed skill (~100 tokens each). Just enough to know what's available — nothing heavy yet.
Skill activates automatically
When your request matches a skill's description, the agent reads the full SKILL.md into context. No manual prompt needed — it just works.
Deep expertise, on demand
The agent follows the skill's instructions, optionally loading referenced docs or running bundled scripts. Rich context, loaded only when it's needed.
Compatible with 25+ AI tools
All tools that support the agentskills.io spec work natively — install once, activates automatically.
